Mould finished

Burned out, repaired, and all set for the pour, here is my bronze mould in all its amorphous splendour. Soon, there will be lovely bronze sculptures to show you. Keep in mind soon may bea number of weeks, though.


These are images of the rough (pictured first) and the final product for a dry media project in Media Studio. Ballpoint pen isn't exactly dry, but it's close enough and the professor listed it under usable media, so I decided to run with it. The blotches of bloody-looking gunk are in crayon.

Perhaps I'm just procrastinating. I'm a student, after all, and I hear we tend to do that a fair bit. It's only a little counter-productive, I swear. But I come bearing artwork. And I swear I'll be brief. Really. Then it's back to studying.

This is an intaglio print I've been madly working on for the past week. I printed an edition of 40 of this etching, due for a print exchange/portfolio tomorrow. I'm pretty happy with the final print, and I'm happy that the edition is finally done so I can move onto other looming projects.

At long last

Yes, it's been a while. Yes, I am truly, deeply apologetic to you, my dedicated viewers and/or readers. I realize that you'd probably all be a lot more dedicated if I was more regular, and maybe a little more committed. It's shameful, I know. Well, never again will I leave you good people hanging for so long. I will do my utmost to post lovely updates with more regularity, and if I don't, you have my permission to spam me with messages calling me a lazy, no-good irresponsible blogger until I post you some lovely new art.
On the plus side, while I've been overlooking by regular blogging, I have been creating a whole bunch of stuff that resembles artwork in my various classes at the OCAD. Without further ado, I shall let the images speak for themselves. Any feedback would be appreciated.
