Coffee Shop

Still holed up in the coffee shop, as our wireless is still not working. There's some sort of cheerful Flamenco-type guitar song filling the air, and I'm sitting with my mug of coffee 20 minutes before close. I'll try to be brief!




These are some pictures of my final Form and Structure project (I realize this is a major fast forward from first semester). It took quite a considerable chunk of time to get the furry patches to look... furry. This project, combined with Christian Singer's enthusiasm (he's the prof I had), has made me want to try to take a casting course next year. The medium is plastecine over a wire armature. In retrospect, would have been better to have used thicker wire.
